Mantrailing & Person Search Dogs (PSH) in Augsburg according to Kevin John Kocher
"Think simple" – this guiding principle by Kevin John Kocher is the foundation of mantrailing at StrehDog. Are you looking for sound, structured, and professional search dog training in Augsburg and the surrounding area? Whether you are an ambitious sports trailer or a rescue worker: I will accompany you and your dog on the path to becoming the perfect search team.
Pure Craftsmanship: The original concept by Kevin John Kocher.
Mantrailing is not a matter of luck, but a craft with a system. The method of Kevin John Kocher (KJK) was taught to me directly, authentically, and practically. As a former instructor of a rescue dog team and an active trailer myself, I know exactly what matters. At StrehDog® Mantrailing, I teach person searching correctly from the basics – without unnecessary detours, but clearly and purposefully.
- Structured development: From the first association to the highly complex trail.
- Learning to read: Understand your dog's subtle body language at the start and on the trail.
- Negative indication: Your dog learns to indicate reliably.
- Exam preparation: Professional coaching up to the MT1 and MT2 exams.
Professional use or sports trailer?
For me, there is no difference in quality standards.
For sports trailers & activities
Mantrailing as a high-performance sport
Mantrailing is the ultimate high-performance sport for a dog's mind. It perfectly utilizes your dog's natural instincts and ensures deep physical and mental stimulation. Mastering a trail together strengthens the trust between you and your four-legged friend like almost no other activity. In training, there is no difference in quality for me compared to real-world deployment – we trail cleanly, professionally, and with a huge amount of fun.
For rescue teams & authorities
Training relevant to the task
In an emergency, details decide between life and death. Benefit from my experience in real-life operations and rescue dog training. I train under realistic conditions: in urban areas, old trails, and difficult obstacles such as fences, doors, or elevators. I support organizations, squads, and clubs in building or further developing their teams.
Workshops & Seminars
